NAUI TECHNICAL NITROX & DECO TECHNIQUES
TDI ADVANCED NITROX & DECO PROCEDURES
COSTS:
$550 includes course and instructor fees per student (class of 3 or 4)
- $825 per student for class of 2 or $1,650 for private training
$30 for NAUI or TDI c-card
plus gas fills
PREREQUISITES:
1. Student numbers: minimum 2, maximum 4
2. Minimum age: 18 years
3. Basic Nitrox certification or equivalent
4. Minimum logged dives: 100, 10 utilizing EANx
COURSE OBJECTIVES: 20 hours of classroom study and
12 dives minimum
1. Advance student’s working knowledge of EANx diving
2. Learn theory and methods involved in stage diving
3. Conduct staged decompression dives
4. Introduction to mixed gas diving
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Primary cylinder(s) with dual outlet valve or manifold labeled in accordance with NAUI/TDI standards
2. Properly labeled decompression stage bottle with regulator system and SPG
3.
Properly labeled drysuit inflation cylinder (required for trimix dives)
BC with LP inflator and adequate for equipment configuration
4. Primary regulator system with 7’ hose and redundant regulator system with SPG
5. Redundant depth and timing devices and/or dive computer
6. Ascent reel with surface marker buoy/lift bag (minimum 50 lbs of lift if diving in a wetsuit)
7. Knife/line cutter
8. Wet notes and pencil
9. Exposure suit adequate for environment (preferably drysuit)
